John Pearson and Beverly Beekmans
John Pearson was born in the summer of 1972 in Trail, B.C. He was primarily raised by his father with a lot of assistance from his paternal grandmother Ida Pearson, and his aunts and uncles who lived close by. His grandmother was the first Christian influence in his life and he often went to church with her as a boy. In high school he became very interested in computers and he has never lost his passion for them. Just a couple of months before his 18th birthday, John gave his life to God on the bus ride home after a youth group bbq. Currently John is an administrative assistant to the Pastor at his church and does web design and website maintenance.
Beverly Beekmans was born in 1976 in Etobicoke, ON. She was raised in a small, close family and was especially close to her maternal grandmother Violet Luke, until her death in 1985. This tragic event created a void in Beverly's life which was ultimately filled when she met our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in 1996. One of her passions has always been writing and recently has become interested in website design. In 2004, Beverly was blessed with a baby boy, Joshua. Together John and Beverly raise this brilliant and precocious child.
The Yorkton Church of the Nazarene is the home church for both John and Beverly. The two have become active in the church, John doing media and Beverly doing work with the church's children's ministry, Kidztown.
As a tribute to their grandmothers who were a huge influence on them, John and Beverly have named this site after them. Ida + Violet = idalet
